It takes a plan, hard work, and we would suggest, an invitation. We call this comprehensive approach Hospitable Leadership, and it’s proven to be transformational, relational, and results-oriented.
For the last 27 years, The Life Christian Church (a growing & diverse church in the NYC metropolitan area) has been on a journey to create environments of welcome. We’ve seen revolutionary results, and we can help you learn how to do this, too. Once you learn to practice Hospitable Leadership, you will see your ability to impact your sphere of influence multiply exponentially. What was true 2,000 years ago is still true today: When people feel genuinely welcome, they will give you the opportunity to lead them.
Using the “5 Welcomes” from Pastor Terry Smith’s book, The Hospitable Leader, as our guide, we will offer you the tools for creating environments where people and dreams flourish.

Explore the need, and exponential power, of welcoming strangers. These are people who are strange to you in some way, and to whom you seem strange. When we welcome strangers, we can multiply our influence through an ever-expanding diversity of people.
DREAMS
Model being hospitable to the dreams of those you lead while also inviting them to engage in the mission of the Church and to help actualize God’s dreams for the world.
COMMUNICATION
Hospitable leaders are hospitable communicators. Like Jesus, our words are full of grace and truth and ultimately bring transformative results.
FEASTS
Jesus came to fulfill the most important mission in the history of the world, yet He said that He came “enjoying life.” Discover how leaders must learn to feast in the context of a life of purpose and how their leadership effort can feel like a feast to their followers.

Broadway Musical “Wicked”
Enjoy dinner & a show, followed by a peek behind the Emerald Curtain with a Q&A with Cast Members including Glinda the Good Witch, played by Ginna Claire, one of our TLCC members.
We invite you to add-on an iconic New York City Experience on Friday Night, July 19th at 5pm. Limited Space Available. Broadway is sold out; NY Yankees tickets are still available.
Each Friday Night Experience includes dinner and transportation to and from The Life Christian Church.
